What inspires your collections & brand foundation most?
We are inspired by the women around us and life in warm places.
Who inspires you most?
Our mother! She is a powerhouse and the most inspiring woman we know. She has always had great style and energy and has instilled a strong work ethic in us.
Most rewarding & challenging part of running a fashion brand ?
At the moment I think it’s the pace of fashion and consumerism. It would be wonderful if the world could slow down and be more mindful of how and what we consume. Most rewarding is always seeing women wearing our designs and hearing how much they love and wear their pieces.
Favourite Matteau campaign shoot you have done?
We are currently working on a limited edition line which will be a collection of images old and new.
Your favourite Matteau pieces right now?
Our printed silk pieces have just arrived and are always a welcome addition to the wardrobe rotation to lift of the spirits with a bit colour, as the weather starts to cool down.
